Hi, I’m Ana! Your trusty guide to the world’s most breathtaking destinations. I’m a portuguese native, and I’m on a mission to uncover the hidden gems that make luxury travel so unforgettable.

I cannot live without 2 things: sun & beach. And hum… almost forgot! I love writing about paradise!

I kept keen on exploring new destinations

It all started when my mum used to take me on her adventurous work travels. I loved discovering new places, trying new foods… At that time, I was going to Paris quite frequently. But I craved the excitement of discovering new destinations.

That thrill of exploration, the freedom of being in a new place, tasting new flavors, smelling new scents, and seeing new landscapes was simply indescribable. I treasured these moments and felt truly happy & alive.

But life wasn’t always this way

After becoming a type 1 diabetic, at the age of 13, I felt like my freedom was at risk. And I knew I needed to do something to recover that happiness & freedom again.

So I made a commitment to living a healthy lifestyle – eating nutritious food, exercising regularly, and feeding my mind with good books. And at the heart of it all was a burning desire to travel again, stronger than ever before.

At the age of 22, I did my first solo trip

I embarked on my first solo journey to Venice, and it was a life-changing experience that left me feeling empowered & fulfilled. It’s amazing the power of solo travel and the way you get to push yourself outside of your comfort zone! If you are reading this bio, this is your sign to embark on an adventure yourself.

After that trip, everything was about to change

That trip was the catalyst for so much of what came next. It gave me the confidence to keep traveling and discovering new destinations, and it ultimately led me to combine my two greatest passions – travel & digital marketing – through my brand, Travel Seeker Abroad.
