My Experience
I stayed at BASK Gili Meno for two nights. From start to finish, my friend and I were always treated flawlessly. The staff and the manager treat you like you’re part of the family – so you feel at home right away.
Not only are the amenities spectacular, featuring a sophisticated design, but the hotel also offers services that will make your stay unforgettable. For example, you can have dinner by the beach, receive a massage on your desired location (private villa or beach), and snorkel at Gili Meno Statues, as the hotel provides goggles and flippers.

What I liked most about BASK Gili Meno was the attention to detail. Everything here is crafted to provide you with the best experience possible. Ever since we went out to explore the island, we would arrive at our villas, and the beds were made, the toilet paper was changed, and the water bottles were replaced.
BASK Gili Meno is incredibly romantic as well. If you’re traveling as a couple, you’ll have a wonderful experience here. Many couples choose their honeymoon stay at BASK Gili Meno, and it’s easy to understand why. The ambiance is just so magical!
Everything – from the villas to the food and customer service was flawless. I think this was the best luxury hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I could not recommend it more!

BASK Gili Meno is located at Gili Meno, an idyllic stretch of coastline off the coast of Lombok. Known to be an oasis for snorkeling, Gili Meno is a luxury destination teeming with underwater diving sites and animal life, including turtles, colorful fish and corals. With white-sand beaches, turquoise waters and stunning sunsets, countless couples flock to the island as their honeymoon destination.
Just in front of BASK Gili Meno is the Gili Meno Statues. A spectacular underwater exhibition of 48 figures, created by the world renowned artist Jason deCaires Taylor, with the aim of providing a platform for marine life to flourish.

The facilities at BASK Gili Meno are of incredible quality and good taste.
The property’s sleek design is a mix of brown, white and green. The clean decor merges perfectly with the palm trees and crystal-clear waters surrounding the property, endowing BASK Gili Meno with a sophisticated and natural feel.
BASK Gili Meno boasts picture-perfect villas, featuring their own private pool. There are different types of villas available, from the three bedroom villa to the studio plunge, each of them merging the exotic look of Gili Meno.

The hotel features a large infinity pool, which is located next to the main restaurant. Overlooking the white-sand beach and crystal-clear waters of Gili Meno, the pool is laid out in black titles, which adds to the sleek design feel of the hotel. There is even a part of the pool merging with a cocktail lounge, which makes it ideal for a refreshing drink while being at the pool.
For foodies, there are two restaurants serving delicious food. BASK restaurant is the main restaurant and overlooks the pool, beach and ocean. Here, guests can indulge in a varied and home-crafted breakfast, as well as delicious plates from several different cuisines for lunch and dinner. Rosalee is the second restaurant, set underwater with a stunning view of the pool, crafted to provide an exclusive and intimate experience to the sound of Jazz, Funk and Soul. If you’re looking for a private lounge, Rosalee is the place to book.
Those looking for wellness and rejuvenation will enjoy the Wellness Retreat at BASK Gili Meno. The hotel provides massages on your own villa or at the beach, offering different treatments to nurture your mind, body and soul during your stay.
Lastly, the hotel boasts a well-equipped gym, in case you feel like exercising.

I found the food very tasty and sophisticated. There is a lot of variety, from Asian to Western food or even freshly crafted Sushi. There is something for everyone. And the hardest? Well… it’s choosing!
Everything is home-crafted – including the bread and pastries at breakfast. The relaxed ambiance of living here only adds to the experience.
Honestly, I would recommend the BASK Gili Meno restaurant to anyone, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Burrata, fish of the day, and crème brullé served with coconut lime sorbet are my best recommendations.

Gili Meno is well known for its spectacular underwater world, making it a dream location for snorkeling and diving.
There are two unmissable snorkeling spots in Gili Meno: the Gili Meno Statues, in front of the property, and turtles, mostly spotted at Turtle Point.
If you stay at BASK Gili Meno, you will receive free snorkeling equipment, including goggles and flippers.

2. Have a romantic dinner by the beach
Gili Meno is a romantic destination. Each day, BASK Gili Meno provides the possibility to have a beautiful dinner by the beach.
It always felt so magical to watch the sunsets while eating. And so romantic! I could not recommend it more.

Villas at BASK Gili Meno are incredibly beautiful, and all of them feature a private pool. Spend some time enjoying your spectacular villa!
There are many ways you can enjoy your villa: watch the Smart TV from your king-size bed, swim at your private pool, or drink a coffee on the balcony while gazing at the sky. Have some time to relax!

Best Time to Visit
The weather in Gili Meno is well-known to be tropical which means there are only two seasons on the island: the wet season and the dry season. The dry season runs from April to September. This is the best time to enjoy the beaches and other outdoor activities.
How to Arrive
There are a few different options for arriving at BASK Gili Meno. Come either from Bali or Lombok.
Bali
Helicopter – Looking for a seamless experience? Air Bali will fly you directly to Gili Meno. It takes around 40 minutes from Benoa (South Bali), where the heliport is based. You will need to charter the flight, which costs around USD $ 3000 one way for 4 people including luggage.
Lombok
Private Charter Speedboat – If you value privacy, another option would be to take a private Speedboat from Bangsal Harbour.
