5 Nassau Diving Spots You Will Regret Not Diving
Are you a diving lover? If so, you’ll be thrilled by the diverse and exciting diving spots in Nassau.
In this guide, I’ll highlight five sites that you will regret not visiting.
1. Shark Arena
Ready to swim with sharks – no cage, just pure thrill? At Shark Arena, just off Nassau’s coast, you’ll glide through crystal-clear waters as Caribbean reef sharks circle gracefully around you. It’s intense, surreal, and absolutely unforgettable.
You’ll get to observe sharks swimming in a wide circle while a professional diver feeds them at the center, making it an exciting spectacle.

2. Ocean Atlas
Next on the list is Ocean Atlas. How would you feel diving into the largest underwater statue in the world?! In Nassau, that is possible and most likely one of the best diving locations in the Bahamas.
This breathtaking 60-ton sculpture depicts a Bahamian girl holding up the sea. Almost as if the girl was holding the ocean until she could no longer, working as a clear representation of how fragile the ocean is and driving attention to the importance of taking care of the ocean.
Ocean Atlas was also created to promote reef colonization, contributing to shifting tourists’ focus from other endangered reefs on Nassau.

3. Clifton Wall
Clifton Wall, located in Clifton Heritage Park, is a stunning vertical reef that drops dramatically into the deep blue. As you drift effortlessly along the wall, you’ll be surrounded by vibrant corals in shades of purple, orange, and yellow, teeming with life – making it another excellent Nassau diving experience.
Keep also your eyes peeled for angelfish, barracuda, sea turtles, and even the occasional reef shark cruising by.
Of course the visibility is crystal-clear. But what drives most divers to this Nassau diving spot is the sheer drop that gives you that exhilarating drift feeling while diving.

4. Lost Blue Hole
Have you ever dived into a blue hole? The Lost Blue Hole, while not as deep as Dean’s Blue Hole in Long Island, still attracts many divers in Nassau with its 200 feet deep, surrounded by reef and sand.
Divers come here for the chance to see large marine life like nurse sharks, stingrays, groupers, and even the occasional blacktip reef shark. The walls of the hole are covered in sponges and corals, and schools of fish often circle the rim.

5. James Bond Wrecks
Probably one of the most iconic dives of Nassau. James Bond fans will want to explore this fantastic site named James Bond Wrecks, two iconic sunken vessels featured in Thunderball and Never Say Never Again.
Located just off Nassau’s coast, these wrecks are shallow, making them perfect for both divers and snorkelers.
As you swim through the coral-covered structures, you’ll spot tropical fish, moray eels, and colorful sponges. But the best part? It’s realizing you are diving in a James Bond movie scene. How would you feel?!
