9 Eleuthera Beaches You Will Regret Not Going To
If your idea of the perfect beach includes miles of white sand, turquoise waters, and spectacular uncrowded stretches of paradise, you’re in the right place.
Eleuthera is home to some of the most incredible beaches in the world – including the iconic pink sand beaches in The Bahamas. Some say, there is even a secret beach ranked as the second-best in the world for surfing.
In this guide, I’ll share with you 9 Eleuthera Beaches you will regret not going to.
1. Pink Sand Beach
What separates this into one of the most spectacular Eleuthera Beaches, and even the world, is the pink-splashed color of the sand. Nowhere but here can you find such a spectacular pink-sand beach, contrasting with the sparkling blue water in The Bahamas. Something you will hardly see anywhere else – and you deserve to see it.
Pink Sand Beach is located on Harbour Island. To reach Harbour Island, head to the boat dock in Eleuthera, followed by a five to ten-minute water taxi ride.

2. Gaulding Cay Beach
Immediately? YES! Gaulding Cay Beach, located on North Eleuthera, is one of the best Eleuthera beaches. This one-mile stretch of powdery sand beach offers some of the most electric blue water you’ll probably see on the mainland.

3. Lighthouse Beach
Lighthouse Beach, located South of Eleuthera, is another Eleuthera beach hard to resist. Of course there are turquoise waters. But what makes this beach one of the best things to do in Eleuthera, is its unique, ragged cliffs against the water.

4. Spanish Wells Eleuthera
If you are in Eleuthera, don’t skip Spanish Wells. You’ll find a spectacular beach made of long-mile stretches of white sand and a spectacular sandbar – you won’t soon forget.
To reach Spanish Wells, take a boat tour that will take you just minutes away from the main island. Relax and enjoy the shallow, pristine waters, which will most likely be uncrowded. For you, this means you’ll be greeted with a tropical beach away from everything and everyone – just like with most Exuma beaches. A sandbar on the nearby Royal Island will whisk you away to views you didn’t expect.

5. Schooner Cays Eleuthera
Not all travelers know about Schooner Cays. Not you! Schooner Cays is a must-see – if electric blue water is all you can think about. At low tide, you’ll be greeted with spectacular sandbars, allowing you to snorkel and spot diverse marine life around. And if you feel like exploring, kayaking freely around the area will make you feel as if you’ve found your own slice of paradise.
To reach Schooner Cays, take a boat tour or rent a boat yourself to this spectacular beach nothing short of extraordinary.

6. Receiver’s Beach
Receiver’s Beach offers clear, calm and shallow waters and is often uncrowded. Walk on soft sands, and if you’re lucky, spot conchs, crabs, small fish and many sand dollars when stirring up the sand. Some pine trees provide shade, allowing you to unwind in the perfect environment.
This Eleuthera beach is filled with sand dollars and is one of the easiest to access.

7. Surfer’s Beach
Are you in the mood for surfing? Surfer’s Beach is an off-the-grid paradise for surfers. The waves often rise above shoulder height, the water is crystal clear, and the lack of crowds creates a unique surfing experience.
Some say this beach is the second-best for surfing worldwide, with professional surfers comparing these waves to some of the best found in Hawaii.

8. Queens Bath Eleuthera
Queens Bath is another Eleuthera beach you will regret not visiting. What sets Queen’s Bath apart? It’s the only natural pool in Eleuthera Bahamas, perfect for a quick dip.
These naturally-formed rock pools near Glass Window Bridge are warmed by the sun and filled by crashing waves, creating a soothing, surreal experience. The best time to venture to the beach is on low tide, when the rocks are visible and it’s easy to get in. I recommend wearing proper shoes as the rocks are sharp.

9. French Leave Beach
Last on the list: French Leave Beach. This is one of those places that you’ve been to, you know, and if you’ve not been, I hope to put you on it.
French Leave Beach is one of the top Eleuthera beaches, where you can snorkel and swim unveiling a paradise you probably didn’t expect. Guests at French Leave Harbour Village are provided with a golf cart and can reach the beach within just a few minutes.
